Eric Witham Design & Marketing created the branding and packaging solutions for this craft ale for the export market.
We were commissioned by the Balmaha Brewing Co, to name, and design the packaging for Tartan Thistle Ales for the American market. Without being overtly traditionally Scottish, we created a label solution that plays on our Scottish branding, yet is desirable and sophisticated.
We used a stylised and colour coded graphic of a thistle to differentiate product.
We kept the stag motif on the back label to tie in with the Balmaha Brewing Co.
The Stag will appear on all bottles and ale brands.
